Guidewire Billing Center - Sr. Manager

Job Role:

As a Billing Center Developer, you will design, develop, and unit test solutions using the Guidewire Billing Center product. You’ll be part of the Guidewire integration development sub-team within a larger project framework. Responsibilities include managing project scope, estimating work, creating build plans, scheduling, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery. You will collaborate closely with onsite and offshore teams, as well as clients, to achieve project goals. Additionally, you will interact with various internal IT teams to complete project activities.

Required Skills:

Strong configuration or integration skills (Guidewire v7.0 or above)

Technical and functional expertise in areas such as GOSU, PCF, XML, Product Model, Activity Assignments, Forms, and Inference

Solid understanding of the Guidewire platform, including UI, Data Model, and Studio

Strong technical background in Core Java, XML, and SQL

Knowledge of one or more RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server)

Familiarity with modern software architectures, design patterns, and development techniques

Application of structured software development practices, including requirements analysis, functional decomposition, and testing

Experience with software configuration management tools (e.g., SVN, CVS)

Knowledge of SDLC methodologies

Supplementary Skills:

Experience with Tomcat or WebSphere

Guidewire Certification is preferred

Familiarity with at least one JEE framework (preferred but not required).
