Job Description
Insight global is seeking a Network Engineer to support one of our federal clients in the design and implementation of VLANS/LANS in matrixed communication systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for network and system integrations, architectural design or voice and data transmission. This opportunity could require up to 20% CONUS/OCONUS travel to provide enterprise level support.
Compensation:
$49hr to $62hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
Active DoD Secret clearance
Experience in network engineering
Experience in designing and implementing LANs or VLANs
Experience with routing protocols, multicast, routing configurations, IPv4/IPv6 addressing, etc.
Experience with network protocol analysis using tools such as Sniffer or Wireshark
Experience with Vmware
Knowledge of commercial communications equipment
Knowledge of transport and network architectures
Knowledge of end-to-end network design and performance
Knowledge of voice/data transmission and backbone networks
Knowledge of RF engineering
Knowledge of tactical communications systems
Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS up to 20%. -B.S. in Systems or Electrical Engineering or higher. null
