Job Description:The ideal Technical Product Owner, will have worked in an Agile / Scrum / Kanban environment, partnered with business stakeholders (Product Owners, Product Managers) in defining agile requirements (Epics, Features & Stories) and enabling agile teams to deliver.Ability to apply business expertise and analytical skills to resolve basic business issues and problemsDocument user stories depicting business requirements and acceptance criteriaKnowledge of cloud-based infrastructure to implement technology solutions that are scalable, resilient, and efficient.Sharp analytical and problem-solving skillsCreative thinker paired with great attention to detailsExperience collaborating with Software Development Engineers, Data Analysts, DBAs, and cross-functional teamsEnsuring the business needs are understood by the development team and delivered against to ensure the solution meets the business customers needDefine test plans and methods to ensure successful delivery of automated solution.Ensure testing meets established acceptance criteria before final approval.Excellent organizational and time management skillsOutstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skillsExcellent negotiation skills and ability to partner with business stakeholders to prioritize backlog as necessaryProactively communicate any potential risks, delays or any challenges during the development sprints.Ability to represent the team in project meetings, and on committees and cross-functional squads.Roles & Responsibilities
Coordinates with the Scrum Master, Delivery Team, and Product Managers in various planning events including Sprint Planning, Program Increment (PI) Planning, etc.Initiate and translate product road map into manageable product backlog in collaboration with Product Managers and key business stakeholdersOwn and prioritize Team Backlogesponsible for defining and accepting User StoriesEnsures Product Management team has insight and understanding in Product and effective prioritization of Backlog ItemsLiaise with Product Manager to understand the features and changes in product requirements and support the release planning and sprint planning exercisesFull Understanding of Epic, Feature, Story breakdown and alignment to backlogEstablish partnership and working alignment with Delivery team and Product Management team enabling value driven deliveryKeen understanding of the Product(s) and serves as a Subject Matter Expert to the team and external partnersServe as mentor for junior Product Owners cultivating and growing skillset, Agile mindset, and ability to unlock value deliveryChampion and drive delivery through the Five Levels of Agile Planning: Vision, Roadmap, Release Plan, Sprint Plan, Day PlanUnderstanding of Delta IT Technology and Applications with the ability to support Technical Product Owners with direction and alignment
