Design Technology Analyst - Bentley

Halff is looking for a dynamic person to join our firm's Production Technology and Innovation Team (PT/I) as a Design Technology Analyst. The Design Technology Analyst is a cross-functional role and will assist with the integration, maintenance, and support of Halff's Bentley platform including, but not limited to, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer (ORD), and ProjectWise. The priority of this position is to ensure the availability and functionality of the Bentley platform, integrating new software upgrades, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives and visioning to ensure a best-in-class design platform experience. Responsibilities also include working with the IT Department to determine suitable hardware configuration and other CADD-related technical needs, configuring the systems for optimal performance, troubleshooting CADD system issues, and assisting with the deployment of Halff's CADD standards. The successful candidate will have the perspective of a design production professional with experience in project setup and multi-discipline coordination. The Design Technology Analyst should enjoy working with people to resolve problems, find innovative solutions, learn how to leverage new technology, and teach best practices. This position will routinely be required to work well independently or collaboratively with fellow PT/I team members.

Responsibilities:Interact with Bentley software users to identify and resolves problems in a timely manner; skillfully gather and analyze information; develop alternative solutions when appropriate; work well in group problem solving situations; use tact and reason even when dealing with timelines and deadlines.Assist with the development, visioning and continuous improvement of Halff's Bentley platform and related processes.Assist with managing the licensing, configuration and installation of Bentley and related software.Assist with creating software deployments using Microsoft SCCM/MECM.Troubleshooting software installation, performance, and workflow issues.Facilitate project collaboration and work sharing, using on-premise and/or cloud-based platforms.Optimizing design environments to automate access to client specific standards content and streamline production workflows, documenting these workflows.Assist with facilitating the deployment and support of CADD standards across a variety of design disciplines.Qualifications:

Advanced experience with Bentley software including, but not limited to, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer (ORD), and ProjectWise, in a design production environment.Demonstrate an understanding of Bentley technology including configuration, testing, templates, styles and advanced techniques.Associates degree in CADD, drafting, architecture, engineering, or related field and 5-7 years' experience; OR bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or related field and 2-4 years' experience.Ability and willingness to provide timely, reliable, and courteous support to production design staff.Ability to solve problems that frequently involve several options in many situations.Experience with creating, maintaining, and updating Bentley workspaces.Knowledge of maintaining and updating Bentley CADD standards components.Experience with automation and scripting to streamline workflows.Passion for using technology to find better solutions.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work in a team environment.Company Overview:
