Compute/Storage Deployment Engineer

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Deployment Engineer – Compute/Storage to join our Deployment Engineering team.
This role is located in Lake Mary, Florida/ Pittsburgh, PA – HYBRID (2-3 days in office required).
Candidate must reside within a commutable distance to this work location, as we are unable to accommodate 100% virtual work arrangements.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Work alongside multiple teams to plan, coordinate, and execute the deployment of new resources, including servers and storage infrastructure
Utilise deployment scripts, tools, and processes to complete and streamline deployment activities
Collaborate with the operations and pure engineering teams to ensure deployments are following standardised configurations and certification
Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in compute/storage infrastructure and deployment
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred. 6-8 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
At least 5 years of experience in a deployment engineer role, with a focus on Cisco, Dell and HPe infrastructure working on large scale enterprise-wide projects
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Experience with Cisco UCS suite utilising UCS Director, VMware vSphere, Dell Open Manage Enterprise, HP Oneview and Digital Rebar or similar E2E tooling utilities
Knowledge of scripting and automation skills, using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
