Maintain the security and integrity of multiple databases, ensuring the highest levels of

in a classified environment.You'll Drive Performance Optimization:

Analyze and optimize database performance, manage database indices, and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reliability.You'll Innovate & Implement:

Coordinate database architecture changes, manage lifecycle activities, and implement

emerging database tools

and technologies.A Day in the Life:Maintain & Secure Databases:

Administer, maintain, and develop policies to ensure the security and integrity of multiple databases, supporting mission-critical operations.Optimize Performance:

Direct the monitoring and administration of database systems, optimizing performance and redesigning structures to improve data storage and retrieval.Disaster Recovery & Resilience:

Manage disaster recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and availability in the event of system failures.Coordinate & Collaborate:

Work closely with

Database Engineers (DBEs)

to coordinate database architecture changes and optimize system performance.Implement Best Practices:

Direct the installation of database management systems, databases, tables, and views, utilizing current and emerging tools and strategies to drive innovation.What You Bring to the Table:Expertise in evaluating and recommending

database management system (DBMS)

products, ensuring compliance with business requirements.Proven experience in

Oracle ,

SQL Server , and/or

SYBASE Database

and

Application server administration .Ability to perform database and software life-cycle activities to maximize system performance and availability.Strong skills in organizing and formatting data for efficient query and storage processes.What You Need:Bachelor's Degree

and at least

10 years

of experience in DBA-related work in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. An additional

4 years of related experience

may be substituted for a degree.Active

TS/SCI clearance
