Summary of Responsibilities:This position delivers training to new production associates, including assisting during Onboarding, to enable them to be successful once on the production line. This position will track the progress of the associate throughout the training process and will evaluate the associate upon completion. This position will work to develop the training cell for future products and will work on creating and maintaining standard work documents in Spanish.Essential Duties:During the interview process, administer the assembly tests and take applicants on a tour of the facility, especially focusing on applicants who speak Spanish.Provide translations during onboarding, new hire training, day-to-day communications, or as needed determined by the Production or HR teamsTeach associate to build sub-assemblies and provide training for specific stations on the assembly line. Teach associate how the unit operates and instruct on how to drive the unit. Evaluate and document progress throughout the training.Teach associate to understand assembly documents, work tools, torque tool values and quality standards, the Kanban process, standard work instruction, takt timer and indexing sequences.Provide support to employees on an on-going basis to verify comprehension of expectations and provide additional training if needed.Create and maintain Spanish standard work instructions and provide translation services for other documents, projects and departments.NOTE: These duties are subject to change as business needs and strategies evolve.
