Iron EagleX is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team, delivering scalable and secure systems. OCONUS travel to Jordan is required (at least 3 months out of the year, likely closer to 6 months). You will use user-centered and agile methodologies to build and continuously deploy server and client-side solutions. As a member of the team, you will collaborate with project and product managers, user experience designers, and business analysts. Your efforts will directly serve and assist end-users. Your work will be produced in the context of the team's practices, including but not limited to continuous development, deployment, integration, and monitoring. Our solutions need to be "cloud-first", scalable, and deployed in containers. Full stack engineers on this project are expected to have experience developing or integrating databases as well as developing and integrating server and client applications.Job Duties Include (but not limited to):Write and deploy server-side applications in containerized environments on AWS

Write clean, concise, and maintainable codeActively participate in merge requestsHelp define and enforce development best practicesAutomate pain points in the software development process (local development and CI/CD pipeline)Contribute to the development of user stories, acceptance criteria, and participate in story estimationParticipate in writing automated tests to verify the intent of storiesSupport other developers through code reviews and pairing when they have questions or hit blockersSupport and improve the overall system and server-side data-center applications to run on AWSInvestigate data quality issues raised by users of the systemInvestigate errors in applications and perform root cause analysisResearch data sources for ways to expand the usefulness of the systemProvide application programming interfaces (APIs) and servicesContribute to hardening OS images, applications, and containersPerform security scans and produce reports of the outcomes

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Information Technology field focusing on AI/ML development projects using DevSecOps and AWS cloud environmentsExperience with full stack engineering, including at least 3 years of experience deploying production enterprise applications in AWS that use AI/ML3 years of specific software engineering experience related to front-end and back-end applications and/or data servicesExperience in large scale, high-performance enterprise big data application deployment and solution architecture on complex heterogeneous environments in AWSExperience with automation and engineering tasks, AI/ML implementation, data, infrastructure/operations, and security engineer tasks in USCIS cloud environmentsExperience with containerized environments and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Strong programming skills in Java, Python, Rust, and C++Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Actix, and TensorFlowProficiency with front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or VueDatabase experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL, and MongoDBFamiliarity with infrastructure tools like Jenkins and TerraformLanguages: Java 8+, Rust, Go (Golang), Kotlin backend, and JavaScript or TypeScript frontendFrameworks: Spring Framework (preferably Spring Boot), Node.js, ReduxInfrastructure: Jenkins, Terraform, Amazon Web Services (AWS)Development Tools: Git, Gradle, MavenDevelopment Methodologies: Test Driven Development, Agile Software Delivery, Scrum, Continuous Integration/Continuous DeploymentDue to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.Will travel OCONUS to Jordan (at least 3 months out of the year, likely closer to 6 months).Desired Skills:

Experience with applying DoD security technical implementation guides (STIGs) and automating that processExperience with working in defense or intelligence community cloud environments is a plusExperience with developing and managing machine images or templates to automate cloud deploymentsExperience with optimizing cloud environments, including leveraging native cloud capabilities, right-sizing servers, expanding storage, and tracking cost efficiencies at the microservice levelExperience with configuring and aggregating logs for data analysis using Splunk or ELK solutions

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with preference towards Computer Science and Software Engineering preferred.
