a wholesale and direct apparel brandin New York, NY is looking for an EDI Analyst responsible for managing our retail EDI integrations and supporting our logistics and distributions operations. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless data flow between our systems, and supply chain and retail partners. They will work with internal and 3 rd parties to test, modify and document EDI and flat file documents and application maps as required. Coordinate solutions to system related problems that effect EDI trading partners. Audit and reconcile daily EDI document processing as required.This role is hybrid and requires applicants to be in the NYC.Responsibilities:Daily review of EDI transaction and resolution of transactions containing errors or failures. Working with the appropriate departments and 3 rd parties to resolve.Review of customer specifications and testing of maps provided by EDI Provider to ensure EDI transactions are successfully implemented.Assist in new trading partner setup, testing and administrationFollowing of EDI guidelines and implementation of any necessary updates pertaining to EDI transactionsLead EDI projects and communicate directly with software vendors, suppliers and customersUpdate and maintain documentation for the EDI platform and processesMonitor and support non-EDI integrations from ERP to business and consumer facing systemsAssist with maintenance and support of ERP platform.Special tasks and projects, as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of Retail and 3PL EDI document formats and details needed to perform daily operationsProven ability to work independently and as a team memberHave a positive and energetic attitude in the workplaceProficiency with MS Office and Windows OS requiredExcellent communication skills; able to discuss technical issues with non-technical staff, such as during trainingsEducation and ExperienceAt least a 2 year degreeAt least 5 years professional experience in corporate retail or wholesalePrior EDI and ERP experience requiredExperience in Apparel or CPG is requiredExperience with working with integrated EDI where maps are developed by the providerExperience with a Fashion ERP like BlueCherry, A2000, RLMDesire to be a part of a fast-paced, growing environment.
