Job Description

Join MAXISIQ as a Senior Software Developer and be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge software solutions for mission-critical government projects. Based in Quantico, Virginia, this full-time, on-site role offers an exciting opportunity to design, test, and optimize high-performance applications using modern programming languages like C#, .Net, and Blazor. As part of an innovative and collaborative team, you'll work on challenging projects, refine and enhance existing software, and mentor junior developers—all while supporting key government initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement software applications using high-level programming languages

Conduct thorough testing of software applications, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing

Refine and optimize existing code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices

Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical growth

Qualifications:Qualifications

Required Skills:

Active Top Secret clearance minimum

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development

Strong proficiency in high-level programming languages such as C#, .Net and Blazer.

Extensive experience with software testing methodologies and tools

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
