VMware/Cloud Virtual Desktop Engineering Lead with SECRET - HYBRID

LOCATION: Fort Meade, MD (3 Days Onsite and 2 Days Remote)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 12+ years of prior relevantexperience• Expertise with virtual desktop infrastructures (VDI): Azure Virtual Desktop,VMware Horizon, Amazon Workspace or other platforms• Experience managing teams of engineers, including mentoring and fosteringcommunication and collaboration across the team• Experience developing and deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC), utilizingcontinuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, and leveragingautomation platforms such as Ansible or Azure Functions• Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network securityrequirements such as NIST, FedRAMP, and FISMA• Ability to work effectively within a distributed technical team, aided by strongwritten and verbal communication skills• Current IAT Level II (or higher) Certification such as Security + or CISSP
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Relevant certifications such as: Microsoft Certified Azure Virtual DesktopSpecialty, VMware Certified Design Expert - End-User Computing• Familiarity with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence
