DescriptionAs an Engineer on the ASE Pricing team, you'll support Apple's provider portal integration with our financial system, provider onboarding, contracts, tax and banking, and payment report integration for all of Apple's digital content including apps, music, movies, and books on the App Store and iTunes Store. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple engineering teams, business operations, production support, site reliability engineering, quality assurance, and infrastructure teams. The responsibilities include hands-on coding, design, requirements elicitation & refinement, technical documentation, production support, unit testing, quality, and performance. This is a dynamic role and a phenomenal chance to create a huge impact! ResponsibilitiesExtensive experience with JavaOver 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting highly scalable backend applicationsExperience crafting and implementing RESTful/RPC API and servicesSignificant experience with SQL databases like Oracle and NoSQL like CassandraStrong production, debugging, and performance tuning experiences and skillsExperience working on complex problems and distributed systems where scalability and performance are extremely importantAbility to adapt to and contribute to the team best practices in coding patterns & standards across multiple code repositories, unit testing, and continuous deploymentShould be independent and able to effectively work with cross-functional teams

Preferred QualificationsHands-on experience with Scala and big data technologies such as Spark and Kafka is a plusExperience with compute/container platforms such as K8s

Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
