Purpose

The Senior Manager, Genesis Owner Marketing leads the development and execution of the Genesis owner marketing strategy.

Responsible for leading and implementing the owner marketing strategy to maximize service retention, parts sales, loyalty, owner education, safety campaign completion, telematics subscription revenue via traditional marketing, educational asset production, and digital marketing.

Major Responsibilities

Create targeted owner marketing campaigns which promote Guests visiting Retailers for service maintenance, accessories and/or parts purchases.

Deploy recall and service campaign to achieve required completion rates.

Manage the agency of record for maximum dealer and company benefit with customer retention, subscription sales, and dealer satisfaction.

Increase owner engagement in the Genesis brand through educational communications and supporting video production.

Oversee content creation, integrations, and execution of multi-channel communications.

Increase the connected car population by overseeing the development of unique marketing, education and promotions that promote subscription renewals, enrollments, and feature usage.

Implement a cross-organizational decisioning, reporting and deployment platform to operationalize a “one-look, one clear next action” business process (through Salesforce Marketing Cloud).

Collaborate within the division, regions, dealers, and across all workgroups for maximum efficiency, program impact and business results (ownership rules, data privacy, data sharing, lifecycle management, IT development, and IT integration).

Provide clear, succinct reporting and presentations on program marketing efforts, KPIs, budget and expenses.

Manage creative brief process, legal compliance, and deployments to effectively execute the required deliverables.

Develop and maintain an annual budget, including forecasting and management for dealer marketing spend, expense control, purchase orders, changes to accounting, billing processes and requests for proposals.

Coach the success of direct report through active performance management and actions to promote employee engagement.

Support special projects, assignments or tasks as deemed appropriate and assigned by management.

Assist with achievement of all GMA Aftersales goals.

Authority

Make hiring decisions, onboarding, performance management, performance evaluations for current and future direct reports.

Manage multi-million-dollar contracts.

Implement business decisions that are critical to overall company success for Parts/Accessory sales, Customer Satisfaction, Connected Car subscriptions, Customer Safety, and Education.

Work in collaboration with other divisions, business channels and partners for maximum program performance (Digital Service, Marketing, Connected Car, Engineering, Customer Experience, AutoEver, Digital Business Planning, Vendors, Finance and Purchasing).

Education

Must be a high school graduate

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Master’s degree a plus

Related Experience

At least eight years of work experience, with at least three years of directly related experience in automotive parts or service, marketing preferred.

Two to three years of supervisory experience desired.

Experience in a fast paced OEM environment with emphasis on fixed operations process, merchandising and marketing.

Program management and vendor relations experience desired.

Skills/Knowledge

Excellent verbal and written communications skills to allow effective interaction with all levels of the organization.

Able to work independently, under pressure of deadlines, handle multiple priorities and pay close attention to detail.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and internet.

Demonstrated success in working in a highly collaborative environment.

Compensation$107,800.00 - $154,000.00 Annual
