In this role, you will be responsible for the team that processes the compensation from our vendors to our financial professionals on a weekly basis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, re-inventive with processes, and provides consistent, constructive feedback to team members. The ideal candidate is eager to contribute to our mission of Powering Financial Independence by having a serve, make it happen and one team mentality.RESPONSIBILITIES:Commitment to culture requires a demonstration of professionalism, leadership, accountability, client focus and teamwork.Manage the Producer Compensation processing team and ensure timely and accurate weekly compensation processing in our Broadridge BRACS system.Establish and maintain current standard operating procedures for accurate and timely compensation processing to our financial professionals.Maintain a regular schedule for one-on-ones with team members, team meetings, and team trainings.Identify best practices for producer compensation processing (ask the “why’s” and seek improvement) and work with Senior Management to implement improvements.Be a resource for our financial professionals, their staff, and our internal teams on questions regarding compensation policies, procedures, commission audits, and navigating the compensation systems and platforms.SKILLS:Knowledge of financial industry operations or other financial services fields.Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.Ability to interact in a professional and friendly manner with internal and external customers.Strong oral and written communication skills.Strong leadership skills.Strong problem-solving skills.Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Must be proficient in Excel and Word.Ability to learn the compensation system and understand how advisors are set up within that system to meet the desired outcome.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:High School graduate or equivalentAt least 2 years of higher-level education preferredSupervisory experience required with customer service experience preferred2 years’ experience in compensation processing or a related field preferredFinancial services industry experience preferredCERTIFICATIONS : NoneOTHER DUTIES:Ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time in office environment well lit.Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.Position is located in Austin, TX office.
