Senior Network EngineerKey Responsibilities:1. Network Design and Implementation:Design and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure network solutions using Cisco Meraki platforms.Develop network architecture and detailed design documentation.Implement network configurations and changes following best practices and company policies.2. Network Management and Monitoring:Manage and maintain Cisco Meraki network devices, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.Monitor network performance and health using network management tools.Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.3. Firewall Management:Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls, ensuring optimal security settings.Implement and maintain GlobalProtect VPN for secure remote access.Manage Prisma Access to extend secure access to cloud applications and mobile users.4. Azure Networking:Design and manage Azure virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups.Implement and maintain Azure VPN gateways and ExpressRoute connections.Optimize Azure network performance and ensure secure connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.5. Security and Compliance:Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures.Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvementsStay updated with industry security standards and compliance requirements.6. Collaboration and Support:Work closely with IT and other departments to support network-related projects and initiatives.Provide technical guidance and support to junior network engineers and IT staff.Assist in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.7. Documentation and Reporting:Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.Prepare and present regular reports on network performance, security, and project status.Develop and update network policies and procedures as needed.8. Continuous Improvement:Stay informed about the latest networking technologies and trends.Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance network performance and security.Participate in professional development opportunities and training sessions.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineeringExtensive experience with Cisco Meraki platform management.Proficiency in managing Palo Alto firewalls, including GlobalProtect and Prisma.Strong knowledge of Azure networking and cloud infrastructure.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressureStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, PCNSE, Azure certifications) are a plus.Location : Hybrid onsite in Smyrna, GASalary Range : The salary for this position is between $100,000 - $135,000 annually.
