Senior Data Modeler

Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Data Modeler to work on a 12+ month contract position in Smithfield, RI. The pay rate is in the $60 to $64/hour range. This position is available for w-2 only. It is a hybrid role, with onsite work required every other week. Candidates local to the Metro Providence, RI, area are highly preferred. No travel is required.This position is a contract consulting opportunity, offering a comprehensive benefits package for w-2 consultants that includes medical, dental, vision, disability, prescription drug coverage, life insurance, 401(k) with matching, weekly payment, and more.Responsibilities of the Senior Data Modeler:Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to design and build scalable data models.Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices.Analyze business requirements to ensure data models meet performance and reporting needs.Coach and mentor a team of data modelers to ensure adherence to standards.Work closely with the business to build flexible models that enhance product offerings and time to market.Requirements for the Senior Data Modeler:Strong experience with data modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical, 3NF, Dimensional).Ability to work with data modeling tools like Powerdesigner, Oracle Designer, or Erwin.Solid SQL skills for querying and analyzing data.Experience working with Data Engineering and Data Analytics teams.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain data structures to non-technical audiences.Preferred Skills:PowerDesignerOLTP - Online Transaction ProcessingDirect w-2 employment only - No 3rd Parties - Position not eligible for Visa Sponsorship or Transfer
