Duties:
Develop robust and maintainable automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber, leveraging Java programming language, to ensure the reliability and scalability of the Renaissance and Clearing fund application. Adopt Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices using Cucumber, facilitating collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders, and increasing test coverage of the Renaissance web application. Improve performance testing using JMeter and LoadRunner to assess system responsiveness and optimize application performance under various load conditions. Perform manual and automated test cases to verify software functionality, identify defects, and ensure product quality. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, providing valuable insights and feedback during sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, and contributing to the successful delivery of sprint goals. Implement a comprehensive API testing strategy utilizing Postman and REST Assured, resulting in a reduction in API-related defects and improved interoperability across integrated systems. Leverage advanced SQL queries and database testing techniques to validate complex data interactions and ensure data consistency across multiple databases, enhancing overall application reliability and data integrity. Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD, automating the execution of regression tests and deployment of software releases. Document test plans, test cases, and test results, providing comprehensive test coverage and ensuring traceability to requirements. Identify, document and track software defects using JIRA, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to define test strategies, refine user stories, and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in CS or related and five (5) years of experience as a software development test engineer, QA Lead, software quality assurance analyst or related.
Special Skills Required:
Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Create automated test suites for web applications using Cucumber, Selenium web driver and TestNG that interacts with the web elements; 2) Perform API test automation using tools such as POSTMAN or REST Assured to ensure accurate and reliable test results; 3) Test database functionality, data integrity, and business logic across various relational database management systems (RDMS) such as SQL server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle Database; 4) Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD automating the build, test, and deployment process for web applications.
Salary:
$126,300 - $138,300
