This consultant will document results of data profiling to facilitate decision making with executive and senior business data owners. Additionally, this person is required to provide expertise in analytics and visualization as it relates to clients' enterprise data warehouse and business line data marts.In this position, the Senior Data Analyst/Engineer is hands-on in developing and publishing analysis artifacts as well as is a mentor to other analysts on the Enterprise Data & Analytics Team. The Senior Data Analyst will contribute to or provide leadership oversight to data solutions in the following three areas:Implementing data quality management, including the development of the data quality rules for critical data elements based on the selected data quality dimensions and designing the data quality results database, dashboard, integration with our business glossary, and the automation of the processImplementing enterprise data warehouse solutions, including the analysis for source systems, source to target mapping, and built-in data qualityAssist with Data Governance, including the data profiling for source systems, critical data element identification, and business glossary managementThis exciting opportunity requires the best of your data analysis, problem solving and collaboration skills. The Senior Data Analyst will contribute to the development of cross-business unit data solutions that are leveraged to improve our products and insights.The ideal candidate has strong business and technical analysis experience, a growth mindset, is outcome-focused, and fosters teamwork.Essential Functions:Partner with the Data Product Manager, Data Architects, and Data Engineering Manager to ensure data analysis is addressed in the product development lifecycleDevelop, implement, and support the processes and best practices for data exploration, data profiling, data quality and data mapping required for the tactical implementation of the Client's data strategy and roadmapCollaborate with business data owners to execute data profiling and source data analysis for critical Western Alliance Bank applications and systemsParticipate in data governance activities by partnering with the Enterprise Data Stewards as requiredParticipate and contribute to the data issues resolution process within our Data Governance functionDevelop and manage the data lineage, business rules (data quality, cleansing, transformation rules, etc.), reference data, and mapping documents across the enterprise in the Metadata Management ToolApply data analysis skills to the data quality/data governance process and/or to the data flows required to engineer the enterprise data warehousePrepare analysis findings and communicate to both business and technical stakeholdersCreate data visualizations to explain data analysis recommendationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, MIS, or Data & Analytics or equivalent experience5+ years' experience with data analysis specifically as it relates to enterprise data management including data warehousing and source to target mappingStrong experience with RDBMS and query language such as T-SQL, PL/SQL, Spark SQLStrong experience using analytics tools such as SPSS, SAS, Tableau, PowerBIStrong experience using data profiling/wrangling tools (Example: IDQ (preferred), Alteryx, Paxata, Trifacta, Tamlr, etc.)Strong experience using common file formats such as CSV, TEXT, JSON, XML, XSD, etc.Excellent problem solving and analytic skillsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to work collaboratively within a team, business stakeholders and executivesPreferred QualificationsExperience in Agile, SAFe, and/or ScrumExperience working in a data governance functionExperience integrating with data quality, data catalog and data lineage tools is a plusCertifications within Azure such as Azure Fundamentals, Azure Data Engineer, Azure Data Scientist, and/or Azure DevOps EngineerBanking or financial services industry experience or other highly regulated industry experienceExperience integrating and using data science or statistical solutionsJoin us at Sogeti and become a part of a culture that celebrates innovation and fosters work-life balance. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $80,000 - $150,000.This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission.Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
