Senior Linux System AdministratorAbout the Role:
Join our team to support critical programs with classified information system capabilities. As a Senior Linux System Administrator, you will develop, implement, and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs. Your expertise will be crucial in defining computing requirements and providing end-to-end solutions for complex IT infrastructure problems.Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment.Collaborate with a diverse team in a fast-paced technological environment.Develop, implement, and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs.Ability to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.Travel required to other US Domestic locations as business needs dictate up to 10% travel.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.Ability to obtain a transferable U.S. government issued secret security clearance prior to start date.Linux experience.Experience in one of the following: Active Directory, VMware, MySQL, or networking administration.Preferred Qualifications:Windows experience.VMware highly desired.An active DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance or prior SCI/program eligibility.Scripting experience.Raytheon Technologies is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
