Job Summary
The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial indoor and outdoor manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for the safe operation of large industrial forklifts and other heavy equipment in the plant as needed.
Job Responsibilities
Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipmentOrganize product on the yard according to inventory proceduresSafely load product onto and unload product from flat beds and box trailersValidate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation by auditing, recording and interpreting shipping documentation, weights & measures, labels and production schedulesOther duties may be assigned as neededJob Requirements
At least 3 years of experience operating a forkliftHigh school diploma/equivalent preferredAbility to perform routine inspection, fueling & preventive maintenance duties (lubrication, cleaning, battery change)Ability to record and understand numerical valuesMath, communication, and comprehension skills to interface with transportation, dispatch, and direct trailer hitch operationsAbility to lift up to 40lbs occasionally#NOM
