The Role \u00A0\u00A0As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be an integral member of the dynamic AWS squad continuously innovating and improving our enablement platforms and capabilities to accelerate Fidelity s journey to the cloud. You will work on a wide variety of cloud native stacks and technologies, using groundbreaking architectures and services.\u00A05-8+ years of experience in Software Engineering and 3+ years of Cloud experience.\u00A0
Proven hands-on experience with Java and Python.\u00A0
Design and develop Java based application programming interfaces (API's) through SOAP and Restful web services to improve back-end performance of applications.\u00A0
Extensive experience working with AWS services like Identity and Access Management, VPCs, Security groups, ELB etc.\u00A0
Extensive knowledge on docker containers and ability to understand and implement containerization of applications from scratch.\u00A0
Perform CICD (continuous integration and continuous deployment) using tools such as Jenkins for deployment of application docker containers in production and non-prod environments.\u00A0
Proven experience working with EKS, RDS and other components of AWS infrastructure for deployment of application using Docker containers and managing their interactions.\u00A0
Extensive experience working with Infrastructure as Code (AWS Cloud Formation Templates, Terraform, Azure ARM templates).\u00A0
Experience working with Event driven microservice architecture.\u00A0
Experience working with Test Automation Frameworks.\u00A0
Experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS and front-end programming languages such as Java Script, HTML and CSS.\u00A0
Very strong technical curiosity to learn and passionate about new technologies and cloud trends.\u00A0
Experience mentoring and coaching engineers on standard methodology and engineering finesse.\u00A0
Strong communication and influencing skills.\u00A0
Experience working in globally distributed teams.\u00A0
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology or Equivalent.\u00A0
\u00A0Bonus Skills\u00A0AWS Certified Developer Associate / Architect is a big plus.\u00A0
Certified Kubernetes Application Developer is a big plus.\u00A0
