DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Data Scientist who will apply expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining to uncover patterns and insights that drive operational improvements. As a Data Scientist, you will collaborate cross-functionally to understand business challenges and gather requirements. You will design and implement solutions utilizing statistical modeling, machine learning, text mining, causal inference, and other advanced analytical techniques to provide data-driven recommendations.

Key job responsibilitiesPartner with stakeholders to translate business challenges into appropriate data science solutionsCollect, analyze, synthesize data into useful business insights and recommended actionsPerform statistical analysis and modeling to uncover trends, correlations, drivers and recommend operational improvementsWork with large, disparate datasets across databases. Use AWS services to build scalable ML modelsCommunicate technical insights concisely and non-technically to business ownersDesign and implement machine learning solutions to automate analysis
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) experience4+ years of data scientist experienceExperience with statistical models e.g. multinomial logistic regression
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS2+ years of data visualization using AWS QuickSight, Tableau, R Shiny, etc. experienceExperience managing data pipelinesExperience as a leader and mentor on a data science team

The base pay for this position ranges from $143,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $247,600/year in our highest geographic market.
