Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, particularly colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.Responsibilities:Performs functional, automation and regression testing, working with technology project managers, UAT professionals and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach.Responsible for initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production, making recommendations for solutions and improvements.Conducts complex process monitoring, product evaluation and audit assignments; reports issues and makes recommendations for solutions.Ensures project standards and procedures exist, are fully documented and followed throughout the software development life cycle; makes recommendations for enhanced documentation.Monitors products for conformance to standards; identifies risks and recommends solutions; ensures annual organizational reviews of standards and procedures are conducted.Documents findings and performs root cause analyses to provide recommended improvements; collaborates with other areas in technology to develop new standards and procedures.Ensures all corrective actions are assigned, documented and completed; verifies traceability in project work products.Acts as advisor and mentor for junior members of the team.Makes evaluative judgments based on analysis of factual information in complicated and novel situations and provides solutions to problems.Requires sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information.Performs other duties and functions as assigned.Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.Qualifications:6-10 years of experience in similar roles across banking or services technology.Knowledge of Corporate banking and trade finance. Past working in Trade platforms is an added advantage.Hands-on experience with manual and test automation, test script creation and modification required.Working knowledge of QTP/Selenium/test tools including HP Quality Centre/JIRA.Working knowledge of Agile, BDD frameworks.Proven ability to lead local and remote QA teams while remaining accountable for hands-on testing.Strong knowledge of full software development and testing lifecycle.A strong commitment to quality and efficiency.Education:Bachelors/University degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience.Job Family Group:
