DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will help lead UX for exciting future innovations within Amazon Bedrock. Amazon Bedrock is a fully managed service for building generative AI applications. Amazon Bedrock offers a choice of high-performing foundation models (FMs) from Amazon and third-party model providers, along with a broad set of capabilities you need to build generative AI applications, simplifying development while maintaining privacy and security. With the comprehensive capabilities of Amazon Bedrock, you can easily experiment with a variety of top FMs, privately customize them with your data using techniques such as fine-tuning and retrieval augmented generation (RAG), and create managed agents that execute complex business tasks without writing any code.

ResponsibilitiesContribute to the design of useful, usable, and desirable products in a team environment.Understand customers and their needs through market analysis, customer research, and feedback.Use business requirements to assist in developing use cases and high-level requirements.Design the architecture, interface, and interaction flow of services and experiences.Develop personas, customer journey maps, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes.Facilitate the design process, present and iterate design solutions.Chart a course for yourself in ambiguous situations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of design experience3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experienceHave an available online portfolioExperience prototyping (HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash or Flash Catalyst, or Axure)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS2+ years of mass-market consumer web / mobile products experienceExperience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $184,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
