Lumos is looking for a full-time Director of PR! That’s why we’re building a 100% Fiber Optic network from the ground up for families, businesses, and communities, backed by local, expert customer service.Essential FunctionsDevelop and implement PR strategies to enhance brand image and public perception.Oversee media relations: writing press releases, managing media inquiries, and organizing press conferences.Build and maintain positive relationships with journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders.Monitor and manage Lumos’s reputation across traditional and social media platforms.Lead crisis communication efforts by preparing and delivering timely, effective responses.Analyze PR campaign performance, provide reports, and recommend improvements.Manage external agencies and vendors, ensuring alignment with Lumos objectives and goals.Stay informed on industry trends and news to keep company communications relevant and proactive.Create compelling content for various platforms, including blogs, social media, and internal newsletters.Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and senior management, to align PR efforts with business goals.Support internal and external corporate communications needs of the business. Serve as a communications partner with other functional leaders on important initiatives.
