Thinking Minds Inc.'s client is seeking a General Ledger SAP Process Lead Consultant. This role involves leading the design and implementation of SAP Finance & Controlling solutions while ensuring a fit-to-standard process approach. The consultant will work closely with finance and accounting teams to enhance global general ledger functions in SAP S/4HANA, aligning them with business objectives.

Ideal Candidate Should Have:
3+ years of SAP Financial and Controlling (FICO) experienceDeep knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Cost & Profit Center Accounting, and SAP S/4HANAStrong communication and project management skillsAbility to work independently and in teamsExperience with financial project management and troubleshooting
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with accounting and finance to define and translate business needs into SAP processesLead design workshops and sessions to configure a global general ledger solution using SAP S/4HANAOptimize and improve financial and management accounting processesManage project teams focused on SAP Finance modules and support knowledge transfer to key usersProvide ongoing consultation on best practices and system improvementsParticipate in testing, integration, and project cutover activitiesEnsure a strong fit-to-standard core SAP S/4HANA deployment
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years in SAP Financials (FI/CO) with experience in modules like GL, New GL, AP, AR, and Profit Center AccountingStrong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling processesExcellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issuesProject management experience with SAP Finance deploymentsWillingness to travel up to 20%

SAP CertificationExperience with SAP Central Finance
