DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled
Senior Linux System Administrator
to join our team and provide support for classified information systems on physical and virtual platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, critical thinking, organizational skills, and excellent customer service abilities. Responsibilities include system administration, vulnerability remediation, scripting, backup management, networking, and support for DevOps needs.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide Tier I/II support with specific focus on Linux systemsRemediate system vulnerabilities and support Continuous Integration efforts with scriptingManage backup mechanisms for disaster recovery and continuity of operationsProvide solutions and suggestions for networking, DNS, DHCP, and Active DirectoryExpand usage of virtualization and containersAdminister DevOps needs: Jenkins, Jira, and GitBasic QualificationsMinimum of Four (4) years professional Linux experience with administration of networks and information systemsCompliant with DOD 8570 baseline certification requirements for IAT IIMust be a US Citizen and possess a Final Secret Clearance. This position may require travel.Preferred QualificationsLinux or other open-source operating systems certificationsKnowledge of Ubuntu and Red Hat in enterprise environmentsDemonstrated knowledge of redundancy architectures and virtualizationExperience with relevant JSIG/JAFAN or ICD RMF accreditation processExperience with SCC scanner and DISA STIGs
