Segra is searching for a dynamic and experienced

Supervisor, Data Provisioning .Role Overview:The Data Provisioning Supervisor provides direct support to the Data Provisioning Engineering team. Which includes management of individuals, assignment of tasks, and process development. This position has working knowledge of SEGRA Networks, Transport, IP and Ethernet Networks to be utilized in management of the team in delivering carrier class network services to SEGRA customers. Additional duties include representing the Service Delivery team in various committees designed to plan, evaluate, & incorporate new equipment/markets into the network.Required Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience troubleshooting higher level network hardware and provisioningMinimum of 3 years of experience with Ciena equipmentMinimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in customer provisioning

Preferred Qualifications:Ideal candidates will have a CCNA, CCNP, or Six Sigma certificationBS Degree preferred or equivalent experience8+ years in network operations environment or related job.Extensive understanding of either the Data or Transport disciplines. leadership and problem solving skills necessary.Telco experience a plus.A strong knowledge of Microsoft Applications. Provisioning and techinical knowledge required.Knowledge of management principles and practices; personnel supervision and developmentTelephony technologiesKnowledge of IP networking, routers, switches and other associated peripheral equipment for customer networksKnowledge of Ethernet services defined by the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) such as ELINE/ELAN.Knowledge of optical transport technologies DWDM/OTN, and SONET/TDM.Proficiency using Microsoft ApplicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills
