Summary
The Senior Designer/Checker creates detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, and diagrams utilized in the manufacturing of products. Details include all views and dimensions necessary for production. A successful candidate should have a machinist/toolmaker background and/or be familiar with designing aerospace fixturing and tooling with 5 years’ experience.

Siemens NX experience 3+ years
Fusion 360, Mastercam, or SolidWorks experience are a plus.
Five+ years of tool design
Machinist/Toolmaker background
The ability to interpret blueprints and execute the job is required.
Two+ years of management/supervision experience
Primary Responsibilities
Layout designs while using reference material and verify that all required info is available to complete and check job
Review build estimates, design hours, and prepare approval drawings to be reviewed with the Design Manager.
Create detail drawings, complete models, and finish assemblies.
Make corrections after design review and review final design for compliance to customer standards.
Check other designers' work for completeness, manufacturability, and customer standards.

Pay: $42.00 - $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
