Human Resources Generalist Job Description
CVR Associates, Inc. is seeking a high energy HR Generalist in White Plains, New York who will oversee recruitment, employee onboarding and employee file management for multiple locations. In addition, this role also includes a shared office management responsibility in the White Plains location only.Duties:Support all functions and processes related to on-boarding and off-boarding of employees including background checks, drug screening, employment verifications, new hire orientations, exit interviews, etc.Assist with benefits administration including enrollments and terminations for medical, dental, vision, COBRA, 401(k), and commuter benefit programs.Process monthly billings from insurance providers; review billings for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.HR database management including: data entry and maintaining accurate record keeping.Monthly reportingRespond to reference checks, verifications of employment status, and unemployment claims.Provide appropriate communications and promote employee understanding of programs, policies, and objectives.Maintain employee confidence and have the ability to keep HR information confidential.Assist HR Director with various special projects as needed.Qualifications:Willingness to learn various key areas of Human Resources.Strong writing and research skills.Ability to multi-task and set priorities to meet job expectations.College degree preferred and/or 1-2 years in an HR related position.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.In-office position with the potential of 1 remote day after 90 days.Job Type:
