At MGM Resorts, we seek individuals like YOU to create unique and show-stopping experiences for our guests.THE JOB:The Sports and Sponsorships Specialist supports the day-to-day operations of Corporate Partnerships, Sports Partnerships, Sports Tourism, Group and Premium Ticket Sales, Event Development and Live Event Operations for MGM Resorts International via event specific, consumer impacting high profile programming: local, regional and global partnership elements. The Sports and Sponsorship Specialist assists with the day-to-day impressions, consumer engagement and partnering with key stakeholders to ensure successful development of ancillary revenue opportunities and cross property visitation. All duties are to be performed in accordance with department and MGM Resorts International policies and procedures and legal requirements. At all times, must ensure the goals and interest of the department, division and all MGM Resorts International properties (individually and collectively) are upheld and preserved.THE DAY-TO-DAY:Supports Group Ticketing by managing and organizing ticket reservations/inventory, processing and tracking payments.Generate reports on sales and attendance.Communicate effectively with clients and partners to maintain positive relationships.Assists with data entry in CRM system (KORE) and hospitality management system (Concierge Live).Oversees partner and vendor payments in accounting system (Coupa).Manages contracted and non-contracted hospitality requests including room reservations, restaurant reservations, event and production show ticket, transportation, gifting, etc.Support internal and external meetings including scheduling, facilitation and recaps.Assists with preparing department communications including executive, partnership overviews, event summaries, season plans and event recaps, with special events by coordinating and distributing invitations, tickets, credentials, guest lists, gifting, event check in, etc.Serve as on-site contact/host for partners, athletes, during site visits and partner events as needed.Supports Sports and Sponsorships team in account management, project management creation, planning, and coordination of sponsorship initiatives to ensure accurate execution of engaging partners and inbound and outbound development, including communications across all supporting resort departments.Assist with preparing and distributing all special reporting/tracking requests for Sports and Sponsorships team, partner contacts and management.Supports comprehensive strategies for sponsorship development process, including budgeting, calendar planning, communication, agency execution, evaluation, optimization, etc.Makes recommendations to management and provides execution of high value programs.Collaborates with cross functional teams in order to achieve departmental goals, which may include advertising, entertainment marketing, media planners/buyers, legal, risk management, public relations, casino marketing, corporate marketing, front line operations, strategic sourcing, information technology, national and international market development, and resort teams.Oversees partner trade accounts with finance including communication of policies, processes, balances and utilization requests.THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, Hotel Management, Business Administration or related experience.1+ years of prior relevant experience in Sports, entertainment, sales, marketing, events, advertising, or media.THE PERKS & BENEFITS:Health, vision, and dental insurance401k planProfessional development opportunitiesTuition reimbursementExclusive discounts on entertainment, food, hotel stays, and more.Are you ready to JOIN THE SHOW?
