Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific Region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi'olani. The hospital is home to the Kapi'olani Women’s Center and the Women’s Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi'olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.

Founded on the philosophy of empowering women to take charge of their health, Kapi‘olani Women's Centers have been helping women to take good care of themselves and their families for years. Through the Women's Centers, clients receive health screenings, diagnostic tests and treatment services at our two convenient locations in Honolulu and Aiea. Kapi‘olani Women’s Centers are the only O‘ahu facilities to be named Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence by the American College of Radiology. The Centers rank among the top five percent in the nation. Other areas of health care at the Women’s Center include: bone health and osteoporosis, menopause, ultrasound, women’s counseling and coaching, aesthetics, massage, acupuncture and various educational classes geared toward healthy living.

As the Lead Mammography Technologist, you will help the Imaging Services department at Kapi‘olani provide the highest quality diagnostic services to our patients and their families. In this role, you will assist with daily operations of the department and perform routine and complex diagnostic procedures on patients. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and attention to quality control, the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications:

Current Hawai‘i Radiologic Technologist license. Registered Mammography Technologist (RT)(M) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Two (2) years clinical mammography technologist experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT)(R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Lead or supervisory experience preferred. Experience in other modalities.
