Job brief:

As a product designer at the Weather Company, you will be part of our consumer growth and differentiation vertical. Your main focus will be on enhancing the experiences of our existing registered and premium users, as well as attracting new subscribers. You will be involved in all aspects of the product design process, from initial discovery to refining your designs and iterating on them after launch. Drawing on your range of UX, interaction design, and visual design skills, you will create comprehensive solutions that cater to our subscribers throughout their customer journey on The Weather Channel platform of their choice. Collaboration with product, marketing, research, and development teams will be essential in bringing innovative solutions to life, while also maintaining and evolving our design system and design culture.

The impact you'll make:Collaborate with other designers, product managers, marketing, and developers to understand project requirements and user needs.Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and user interface designs that effectively communicate the intended user experience for our registered and premium subscribers.Actively participate in design discovery activities to help define products and features.Rapidly iterate on designs based on feedback, data analysis, and user testing results.Create interaction models and UI details that optimize the user experience.Work with user research on user testing plans and distilling insights.Document design solutions and provide clear design specs to developers.Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and provide support during the implementation phase.Maintain design consistency and contribute to design system development.Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.Actively contribute to improving the design practice and participate in peer reviews, critiques, and design workshops.What you've accomplished:

3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered content solutions and strategic thinking.Expertise in Figma is required. Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, and similar tools is expected.Growing understanding of user experience, design thinking methods, usability, and user research methodologies.Strong conceptual thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling designs.Strong understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and interaction designExcellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Excellent presentation skills, providing clear rationale for solutions related to user and business objectives.Attention to detail, accuracy, and a passion for delivering high-quality design work that meets project requirements and exceeds expectations.Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.TWCo Benefits/Perks:
