We are hiring for an

Application Analyst-Epic and PCC (Long Term Care and Rehab)

Responsibilities:

Participate with long term care clinical workflows (Nursing, Nutrition, Therapy, etc.) and create workflow documentation and tipsheets as neededWork with various governance committees to develop integrated solutions with both PointClickCare (PCC) and EpicConfigure system settings and user settings in PCC and Net HealthInterface with users/clients across the Montefiore Health System. Support users on new applications, modules, and functionalityPerform analysis of necessary application modifications and work with the appropriate Montefiore IT associates or the vendor to coordinate the modificationDetermine how a new system, upgrade, or new component can best meet the needs of the users:

Analyze business/clinical needs and requirementsInterpret end user requirements, by fully discussing potential options, and help client move towards optimal solutionEvaluate the operational workflow that is applied to the systemCreate system specifications from user requirements

Create test plans and test new systems, integrated vendors, version upgrades, and any system modifications. Document all outcomes of testing.Application implementation, troubleshooting, and supportParticipate in technical integration and interface buildWrite and maintain accurate and current documentation Participate in the maintenance of training materials and disseminate materials to usersProvide day-to-day operational support, advanced application troubleshooting support, coordinate modifications and updates, recommend improvements & increase efficiencies and provide pro-active monitoringProvide 24 x 7 on-call coverage for user support on a rotating basisOn an as-needed basis, provide on-site support within the Montefiore Medical Center hospitals and/or its' affiliates (on-site, rotational support)Requirements:

Epic certification: Must be earned to perform in this role. However, candidates do not need to be certified to interview. Consideration will be given to candidates that can demonstrate their ability to pass EPIC Certification in combination with relevant skills/experience.Preferred qualifications :

Epic certification in ClinDoc and RehabAlternatively, certification in any other Epic clinical moduleAlternatively, 2+ years of relevant clinical or business experience in PointClickCare (PCC) and/or Net Health will also be considered.

Knowledge of long-term care and/or therapy workflowsApplication/System implementation, troubleshooting, testing, and support experienceStrong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VisioCritical thinking skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal skills with customers, vendors, peers, and managementEager to learn, exceptional listening skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong presentations skillsExcellent follow up skills, documentation skills and organizational skillsMust be adaptable in a rapidly changing environment with competing prioritiesBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMEETING ALL REQUIREMENTS FOR EPIC CERTIFICATION IS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENTDepartment:
