One of our Fortune 500 clients (A major State Government client) is looking for Hardworking & motivated talents to join their awesome team. The Client is seeking experienced IT Project Managers to oversee high-visibility projects within their IT PMO. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in large-scale technology projects and relevant certifications. This hybrid role requires on-site presence as needed.
Title: IT Project managerLocation: Phoenix AZ 85003 (Hybrid)Duration: 12 months. (with highly possible extension)Interview Process: One round of remote interviews, possibly one round on-site.Work Schedule: Typically weekdays 8-5; may include nights/weekends during critical phases (e.g., go-live).Pay Range: $105-110 /hr.
Responsibilities
:
Ensure adherence to governance processes.Engage stakeholders and prepare status reports.Conduct project planning exercises.Manage vendor relations (deliverable acceptance, contract adherence).Budget management and tracking.Create and deliver project timelines and metrics.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: At least 7 years as a project lead in technology projects.Specific Experience: Recent large-scale website design/redesign experience.Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field (substitutions may be considered).Background Check: Required for finalists; may include CJIS and/or MAX clearance.On-Site Requirement: Must be available for on-site activities as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience and Skills:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certifications.Master's degree in business/public administration, IT, or a related field.IT program or project management experience.Experience with vendor management and software implementation/upgrade.Familiarity with public sector organizations and project management tools.Excellent customer service and communication skills.
