Position Summary

:

The Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in driving business growth by providing comprehensive support to Sales Executives. This dynamic position involves a range of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the sales process and fostering new customer relationships. Key duties include:

1. Assisting with lead generation and prospect research

2. Facilitating effective customer communications

4. Preparing and formatting sales materials and proposals

5. Coordinating customer meetings and events

6. Maintaining accurate data and generating insightful sales reports

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

:

1.

Sales Process Assistance (50%)

• Create and format customer proposals, RFP responses, and sales presentations

• Prepare salespeople for upcoming meetings by gathering relevant information and materials

• Schedule and coordinate customer sales meetings, showroom tours and demos

• Obtain and compile labor quotes for proposals

• Assist in handoff of qualified leads to the sales team for further development

Lead Generation Support (20%)

• Research potential customers using various sources including business journals, industry publications, and online platforms

• Maintain and update a comprehensive prospect database

• Assist with networking event preparation and showroom visits, including logistics, materials, and follow-up activities

• Help maintain a target account list of potential customers

• Support the sales executive in networking activities and relationship-building efforts

3.

Client Communication (20%)

• Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned customers, acting as a primary point of contact

• Handle basic customer issue resolution with minimal support

• Proactively communicate with customers to manage expectations, receive requests, and obtain feedback

• Clearly communicate company deliverables, customer requirements, and timeline needs

• Assist sales in obtaining necessary customer decisions, approvals, and signatures on proposals and scope of work documents

4.

Data Management and Reporting (10%)

• Enter and maintain accurate data in Khameleon

• Generate regular sales reports and forecasts as requested

• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics

• Marketing Support (10%)

• Assist in creating and maintaining customer engagement sales collateral

• Coordinate with the marketing team on campaigns relevant to new business development

• Help organize and execute sales events and customer showroom tours

• Forecast data accuracy and completeness

• Revenue growth

Requirements

Qualifications

:

Education/Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred. 1- 3 years in a customer service or administrative role, particularly within sales, is required.

Computer Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Other Skills and Requirements:

• Proficiency in and ERP system (Khameleon preferred), CAP2020 and Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
