Position Description:

This person in this position will create engaging, intuitive software interfaces for an artificial intelligence (AI) platform to maximize extractions of insights for user outcomes. The user interface/user experience (UI/UX) developer will make complex AI capabilities accessible through an interface that is robust, configurable, non-fatiguing, suitable for user workflows, and exciting to use.

Duties :Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineersIllustrate design ideas using user flows, wireframes, storyboards, process flows, interactive prototypes, as well as design supporting materials for productsDesign digital dashboards and products that are driven by data visualizationDesign graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgetsBuild page navigation buttons and search fieldsDevelop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look likeGet involved with every aspect of product design and development cyclePrepare and present rough drafts to internal teams, key stakeholders, and clientsAlways strive for excellence, attention to detail, intuitive simplicity, and elegance in what you produceIdentify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)Adjust UI based on user feedback and usage reportsInterested in creating products powered by artificial intelligence and working on the defining edge of the industryTogether with your cross-functional partners, you'll set the vision for the user experienceSkills :

Group facilitation of groups as small as two (2) and as large as fifty (50)Experience wireframing and Prototyping in FigmaProficient with core design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)3+ years of experience applying user research and testing user interfacesKnowledgeable of web accessibility best practices and legal compliance frameworks such as the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation ActRequirements :

Bachelor's degree or three or more years of work experience in HCI, Interaction Design, Information Architecture, Visual Communication, or any design-related field.Pursuant to Executive Order 12968, August 2, 1995, this position requires U.S. citizenshipCurrent U.S. government top secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and counterintelligence scope polygraphIdeal candidate will :

Be able to translate users' desired outcomes (e.g., jobs to be done), complex AI-driven data transformations, and analysis into an intuitive interfaceBe an excellent public speaker with experience presenting to a C-suite level audienceHave experience in the Department of Defense or Intelligence CommunityYou are passionate about design systems, best practices for web and mobile design and usability testing.You're a fantastic team player, communicator and facilitator. You have the communication skills and people-focused design mentality to help set up frameworks and brainstorm initial design concepts.

Salary Range:

$60,000 - $130,000
