Job Summary:DT Professional Services is seeking a SQL Developer with experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and cloud environment experience to support the Office of Information Systems within the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). The DEA's SQL Server-based EDW is used by a majority of DEA's applications and is a critical component of statistical reporting. An active Secret Clearance is required to start. This position is hybrid and requires 2 to 3 days per week onsite at the Merrifield, VA DEA Office.

Responsibilities:

Assist EDW Team and provide data warehouse information and/or systems transitioning to a cloud environmentCreate and maintain database integrity and performance using scripts and/or VS Database ProjectCreate new and maintain/improve any and all data transformation services: Microsoft SSIS and others using VS data toolsCreate SQL Scripts to deploy / enhance / maintain databasesCreate and maintain database security, including, but not limited to: DB Roles, Users and LoginsMay write reports or facilitate data access by other means as needed, to include SSRS, PowerBI, etcConducts performance tuning and database design, dimensional analysis and modelingMaintain and add to an extensive set of SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS) packages for Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) dataSupports the review of database systems from non-Concorde applications in other DEA officesParticipates in daily Agile stand-up meetings and monthly planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospective sessionsMaintain, enhance, and create enterprise and application level SQL Server Report Service (SSRS) and other Business Intelligence (BI) tools (If requested, the EDW team will leverage SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) for performance purposes)Multi-task and juggle competing prioritiesOther duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:

A DoD issued Active Secret Clearance is required to be considered2+ years of Cloud environment experience (AWS or Microsoft Azure)8 years of experience in the design, development and implementation of SQL Server databases creating and maintaining T-SQL Procedures, functions, packages and triggers2+ years of experience with SSIS packages for data manipulation and loading2+ years of experience with the SQL Server 2012 environmentBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related disciplineExcellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently and solve problemsSelf-starter with the ability to identify what tasks need to be prioritized based on the impact(s) to the environment and teamExperience within an Agile development environmentExperience with Git and Python, and PowerShellExperience with Azure DevOps ServerExperience with Power BIAbility to write efficient SQL queries as well as demonstrated ability to interpret legacy scriptsExperience with multi-dimensional data modelsAbility to create reports with a solid understanding of a variety of BI data toolsExperience with SSISExperience with data modeling programming and software development, including Python, R, or other high-level language used in statistical computingDemonstrated ability and desire to learn new technologiesKnowledge of Kimball data warehouse methodology highly desiredPrevious experience with Business Intelligence, Kimball Modeling and/or elastic search is desiredThe compensation range for this position: $140,000 - $170,000 annually.
