Job Title: Senior ETL/Informatica Developer
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior ETL/Informatica Developer to join our team, focusing on data analysis, ETL development, and system integration within a large data warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle PL/SQL, ETL development, and experience with Informatica, particularly in upgrade and migration projects. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including IT, business leads, and offshore teams, to ensure data security, compliance, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:Perform data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making processes.Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica and Oracle PL/SQL in a large-scale data warehouse.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and address business needs.Lead server updates and Informatica cloud migration projects to ensure seamless system integration and performance.Work closely with IT teams to maintain data security, compliance, and system stability.Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies and system-related issues.Assist with project management tasks as needed, ensuring alignment with broader project goals.Provide performance tuning for SQL queries and ETL processes.Develop and maintain Informatica repository queries for efficient data integration.Support and implement data quality approaches and techniques.Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication of data integration solutions.Contribute to Agile development processes, working effectively in a fast-paced environment.Utilize financial services or banking industry knowledge to support regulatory reporting, compliance, and fraud detection initiatives.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.7+ years of experience in data analysis and ETL development.8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL and Informatica.Proficiency in Unix shell scripting and experience with Informatica upgrades/migrations.Strong knowledge of SQL, data quality techniques, and data integration best practices.Previous experience working on large-scale projects with nearshore/offshore teams.Proven ability to work in Agile environments, delivering high-quality solutions in a timely manner.Financial services or banking industry experience, particularly in compliance, regulatory reporting, or fraud detection.Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.Experience with build release orchestration tools and cloud migration strategies.Familiarity with data visualization tools and a strong ability to present technical data in a business context.Preferred Skills:
Experience with performance tuning of ETL processes.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.Job Requirement
