Job Summary

Provide professional assistance to the Director of Physician Recruitment and in the recruitment of physicians for the companies of the CAMC Health System and the Charleston community, operating in compliance with all applicable laws and internal policies and procedures. Responsible for research, design, development, implementation, administration, monitoring, and/or analysis in physician recruitment activities.

Responsibilities• Know and accurately follow the Physician Recruitment Policy, Physician Recruitment Process, the Contract Development Policy, and the Referring Provider Compensation Policy. • Assist and coordinate in the development of strategic and comprehensive physician recruitment plans in accordance with organizational goals. • Attend medical association state and national conferences and meetings as required to exhibit and market physician opportunities. • Communicate, instruct, and coordinate with physician recruits, recruitment firms, and recruiting entities as further described in the Physician Recruitment Process, adapting to the individual situation as needed. Explain all Recruitment Incentives to affected individuals. • Schedule physician recruitment visits, including transportation, accommodations, meals, interviews, and facility/community tours. Escort and/or assist with escorting physician recruit during visit, including weekend and evening work and rescheduling as needed based on last minute changes. • Assist with physician contracting process (both Recruitment Incentive Agreements and Employment Agreements if applicable, including coordinating request for preparation of contracts, execution of contracts, distribution of executed originals and copies, delivery of Recruitment Incentive checks to physicians. • Coordinate the application process for state Medical License and CAMC Medical Staff Credentialing. • Coordinate and assure the completion of company's employment process and orientation for employed physicians, including the company's employment application, referencing, pre-employment physical, JCAHO educational requirements, parking ID's, and benefit's sign-up. • Assist with the development, selection and/or procurement of appropriate marketing materials for the company. • Perform all work with the highest standards of confidentiality and diplomacy. • Assure accurate, complete, and timely documentation of all department work to applicable databases. • Design and complete audits to monitor for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures. Make follow-up recommendations including plans to remedy deficits. Document properly and thoroughly. • Cross train and function as reasonably requested in other Human Resource Associate roles. Provide backup to the Physician Recruitment and Compensation Specialist as needed.

Education• Bachelor's Degree (Required) Experience: 3 years applicable experienceSubstitution: May Substitute Master's degree in related field and 2 years application experience for the Bachelor's degree and 3 years experience.
