Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Opening Location: Vestavia Hills, AL Company: Soliant Contact: joey.wilken@soliant.com Position Overview: Soliantis seeking a dedicated and passionate School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to helping students improve their communication skills and achieve academic success. This role involves working with children of all ages within the school setting, providing assessment, intervention, and support to enhance their educational experience. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs. Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication goals. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student assessments, therapy sessions, and progress. Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' speech and language needs. Educate and provide resources to teachers and parents about speech and language disorders and strategies to support students. Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Experience working with children in a school setting. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate and student-centered approach to therapy.
