HarmonyTech is currently looking for a talented and self-motivated Senior Software Developer with knowledge of Java and .NET technology. The candidate will be working with a high-performing agile team leading, designing and implementing business solutions.

The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for evaluating the technical architecture of the environment, translating business requirements into software applications and modules, designing and implementing improvements to the environment, creating database schemas, tables and stored procedures, providing surge support for maintaining application infrastructure, and assisting with user support for the system.

The position is available in Washington DC metro area, requires public trust clearance, and US citizenship.

Required

Minimum 7 years of hands-on software development experience

At least 5 years of experience in a technical role supporting large scale IT systems

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Minimum 5 years developing

using .NET, ASP.NET MVC following established best programming practices

Developing solutions that uses JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, jQuery, AngularJS, Backbone, and Node.js.

Developing custom services, components, or modules using Java, C# and .NET Framework

Experience with OO programming techniques

Technical Lead experience

Solid understanding of consuming RESTful APIs

Ability to write & document clean and efficient code

Understanding of common development principles and design patterns

Desired

Federal government consulting experience

Federal Government Public Trust clearance

Developer certifications

Strong analytical skills
