Job Title: Distribution Designer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Distribution Designer to join our team in Silver Spring, MD, to directly support our active and growing Pepco/Exelon portfolio. Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in drafting/design (Autocad, Microstation, GWD), specifically in support of Pepco underground projects.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Attend regular field visits to project sites to collect field data and take measurements
Support the design, development, implementation, and technical analysis on various electrical distribution projects to fit client standards
Support multiple projects in a cost-effective manner based on project budgets
Prepare technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates
Perform calculations and engineering designs
Hard Skills
Experience with underground distribution design projects
Experience supporting design jobs from Pepco (Exelon operating company)
Drafting/design skills (Autocad, Microstation, GWD)
Soft Skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Reliable transportation for field visits
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Silver Spring, Maryland and some days remote.
Work Environment
In office Tue, Wed, Thur, WFH on Mon, Fri
Weekly pay, PTO & paid holidays, full benefits package, etc.
