The Opportunity

This position works out of our Pleasanton, CA location in the Heart Failure Division. In Abbott’s Heart Failure (HF) business, we’re developing solutions to diagnose, monitor and manage heart failure, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that the data and processes that drive the ADC divisional planning system are correct and that planners at global locations are able to use the system to plan manufacturing, inventory & distribution to support ADC sales targets. The role is also the ADC Supply Chain lead in projects with in associated supporting systems, including working with IT teams around the world to improve the quality of data. Provide training (face to face and documentation) on enhancements, updates and functionality within the planning systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and support of SAP solutions to meet business requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business needs, translating them into technical specifications.

Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Manage and optimize SAP system performance, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Conduct system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to maintain system integrity and performance.

Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and junior team members.

Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement.

Participate in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP implementation and support.

In-depth knowledge of SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM and QM.

Strong understanding of SAP integration with other enterprise systems.

Proven experience in project management and leading SAP projects.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

SAP certification is a plus.

The base pay for this position is $83,600.00 – $167,200.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
