DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Set and communicate clear objectives and key results for the product that are aligned to broader business priorities. Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and other partners to design and validate potential solutions that are informed by your experience and knowledge of technology, data, and machine learning. Create and manage product roadmap that represents the long-term vision and short-term deliverables via product initiatives, epics, and tasks. Design and implement product management workflows in Jira using an agile scrum methodology to keep the team aligned on short and long term priorities while delivering incremental results. Capture product requirements in Jira, work with Data Science and Engineering to hold product refinement sessions to ensure the tasks are decomposed to small units of work and well defined. Lead sprint planning sessions with Data Science and Engineering teams to ensure the priority work is being executed in the proper sequence. Work across the organization to address issues and dependencies that arise and block the Data Science or Engineering team from progressing on their work. Coordinate testing with partners and stakeholders. Ensure model, data, and operational governance practices are followed and the proper evidence and artifacts are captured. Ensure that the documentation is kept up to date. Communicate product vision and roadmap to data science, product, and leadership teams. Provide regular status updates on Product progress, achievements, and risks to Leadership & Stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Product, Data Operations & Automation, Data Products, Software Engineer, SAP Lead, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Product, Data Operations & Automation, Data Products, Software Engineer, SAP Lead, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: AWS Athena; Pyspark; Tableau; Agile Scrum methodology; JIRA; Confluence; data visualization; S3; MSK; EMR; Glue; SQL; Python; AWS; Big Data; Data Analytics; Software development life cycle (SDLC); Building Data Products; and Release management.

Job Location: 880 Powder Mill Rd, Wilmington, DE 19803. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
