GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Senior Marketing Lead will be a chief advocate and leader on the team responsible for telling the world and Henry Ford Health System the story of key product lines. The Senior Marketing Lead will be charged with crafting the messaging, development and implementation of the strategy and marketing plans to grow profitable business for Henry Ford Health System. This data-driven position manages growth goals through opportunity identification, product/service improvement and implementation of effective multi-channel advertising, digital and promotional tactics by attracting website traffic and

converting new leads in key target markets. It reports to the Director of System Marketing.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leads development of multi-channel advertising and promotional strategy and implements communication plans for market opportunities, key target markets and the most effective strategies to grow business based on customer needs. Leads teams with administrative and physician leaders to assist them in achieving their goals.

Build and manage a rich content that attracts a qualified audience to owned properties (including blog posts, whitepapers, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.). Grow new leads by crafting landing pages and lead generation forms for our content to distribute through relevant paid programs

Optimize our marketing automation and CRM lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.

Measure and optimize our paid marketing using vendor-specific dashboards, Google Analytics, and marketing analytics reports.

Collaborate with marketing teammates to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all paid programs.

Manages external business partners (consultants and vendors) including daily project management, analysis of engagement recommendations and implementation of engagement recommendations.

Writes copy and supervises writing, editing and production of advertising, digital, marketing and educational materials for clients through in-house, free-lance and agency resources.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

BS/BA degree in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, health care management or a related field; Master’s Degree preferred.

Seven (7) or more years of experience in marketing, communications or operations, with increasing complexity, or five (5) years of experience plus master’s degree.

Solid understanding of digital communications, multi-channel, integrated marketing, integrated promotions and analytics tools.

Health care experience preferred.

Ability to determine and translate a client’s business value and messaging into an effective web and digital marketing presence.

Understanding of and experience with marketing strategy, advertising strategy, marketing positioning, marketing messaging and general marketing concepts, principles and terminology.

Solid writing skills, and the ability to direct, edit and evaluate writing, design and production of promotional tools and materials, progressive knowledge of digital and social media platforms.
