Pasito a Pasito (DBA LJ ABA) provides ABA therapy services to children diagnosed with autism. This 5000 sq ft clinic is located in Lake Jackson, Texas, and has been providing services since 2018. We are in the process of expanding to meet the demand for services and need an additional BCBA. Lake Jackson offers the best of both worlds. We are located 50 minutes south of the 4th largest city in the nation, Houston, and only 10 minutes from the beach. Relocation assistance is available.

*Job Summary:*

As a BCBA, you will be responsible for providing behavior-analytic services to clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or other behavioral challenges in a clinical setting. You will conduct functional behavior assessments, develop and implement behavior intervention plans, monitor and evaluate progress, and provide supervision and training to BCaBAs and RBTs. You will also collaborate with other professionals and family members to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the services.

*Responsibilities:*

· Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skill assessments using standardized tools and direct observation.

· Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results and client goals.

· Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of BIPs and make data-based decisions to modify or update them as needed.

· Train and supervise staff, including Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), on the implementation of BIPs and data collection procedures.

· Provide feedback and coaching to staff to ensure fidelity and quality of service delivery.

· Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers, therapists, and physicians, to coordinate care and support client outcomes.

· Communicate with families and caregivers to provide education, guidance, and support on behavior management strategies.

· Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided, including progress reports, treatment plans, data sheets, billing records, etc.

· Provide day-to-day case management for children on the autism spectrum.

· Develop and write transition and discharge plans.

· Supervise your RBT teams to ensure clinical delivery of the highest standard.

· Adhere to the ethical and professional standards of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and relevant state regulations.

· Other duties as assigned to help manage and improve the delivery of client services.

*Qualifications*

· Masters in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field

· Hold current BCBA certification and State Licensure

· Experience in providing behavior-analytic services, preferably in a clinical treatment setting.

· Skills in conducting assessments, developing and implementing BIPs, analyzing data, and training staff.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

· Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals.

· Ability to adhere to the BACB’s ethical and professional standards.

*Salary and Benefits*

Salary:

$80,000 - $95,000 per year based on experience and qualifications

Benefits:

· Ten paid vacation days (PTO) for the first year of employment

· Three paid sick days per year

· Four paid days for the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year and 4th of July

· Financial support to pay for health insurance when enrolled in the Open Market
