Job Title: Application Engineer
Job Description
As an Applications Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and interpreting project Requests for Quotation (RFQs). This position involves reviewing specifications and drawings to determine necessary materials, engineering, and production labor hours, testing, and field service requirements. You will also ensure compliance with relevant industry and company standards. Leveraging existing designs and the latest technology, you will streamline engineering and production processes to maintain product consistency and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include preparing project pricing using the Epicor quoting tool and developing detailed Deal Proposals for client presentations. In addition to creating necessary electrical drawings and documentation, you will assist Sales Managers in presenting technical aspects to customers. You will be responsible for maintaining all required documentation as per Quality Management System, monitoring projects to completion, and providing support to other departments as needed.
This job involves electrical engineering application in three main responsibilities: project management, proposal development, and technical coordination.
Hard Skills
OSHA, NEC, UL508, UL891, and UL1558
Power generation and industrial control systems
Strong knowledge of electrical theory and power generation components
Bachelors degree in engineering (electrical engineering preferred)
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in East Peoria, Illinois
