Our client is locally owned and operated and has grown into a regional and national industrial equipment supplier. They provide a combination of value-added technical services, engineering, consultation, and quality products to a variety of markets. They provide mission-critical equipment to a wide variety of industries.
Summary:
Receiving shipments, palletizing inventory, kitting build and repair parts, warehouse maintenance, order pulling, packing, and shipping. Warehouse Associates are expected to maintain a high level of productivity and promote a safe work atmosphere.
Duties:Assemble repair part and manufacturing kitsUnload palletized and floor loaded freightPalletize and shrink wrap orders in safe, stable configurationsPut away palletized or hand stacked inventory in proper locationsManual cycle counts of inventory and ad hoc stock checks as directedAccurately pull, pack, and ship orders while adhering to guidelinesGather shipment information (e.g. pallet count, carton count, weight) and create shipment documentation (e.g. Bill of Lading)Ability to complete simple computer tasks in Standard shipping softwareAbility to read small print paper documents of inventoryWork in a safe and organized manner, keeping work areas cleanLift up to 50 lbs and assist in lifts over 50 lbsHelp with other warehouse tasks as neededOperate warehouse equipment as needed including:
Forklifts (Prior Experience Needed)Dock plates/rampsManual pallet jacksHand trucksPush carts
Requirements:
Physically able (lifting up to 50+ lbs)Work well independently/self-starter and with a team safely.Excellent communication skillsExcellent attention to detailHigh School Diploma or GEDPreferred Experience and Skills:
1+ year(s) experience in a warehouse, material handling, kitting, packaging, shipping preferredExperience driving a forklift
Shift: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: Starting at $20/hr
