Title: Data Engineer with GamingLocation: Remote PST or ESTDuration: 9 months (likely to extend up to 18 months).Typical Day in the RoleKey projects: This role will contribute across client and other parts of the company and work with product and services data; Azure data factory ADLS with scope scripts and KustoCandidate RequirementsYears of Experience Required : 2+ if they have experience in the right set of tools if not 3-4 years in data experienceDegrees or certifications required : Bachelor's degree in a computer related field and any certifications around data and computers..Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience:ADLS/Scope scripts | 1-2 years of experienceSQL experience data processing experience | 1-2 years of experienceData modeling | 1-2 years of experienceResponsibilities :Implements complete data architectures, including appropriate data schemas, as well as additional components appropriate to the database design for consuming data from varied data sources.Designs and implements automated data flows for extraction, transformation and loadOptimizes data aggregations while staying compliant to data privacy policiesAuthors robust technical documentation, data schema and real time data telemetry specsBuilds and maintains moderately complex data visualizationsCommunicates and coordinates with external and internal teamsMay be responsible for developing requirements and drafting high level design documents and selling designs to key stakeholders.Skills :3-5 years' work-related experience required.Must have experience with Microsoft SQL Server.Must have experience with building moderately complex data visualizations on real dataExperience with Azure Cloud and any data flow automation is a plus.Must have experience with physical implementation of moderately complex logical database designs and relational database concepts.Strong communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills required.Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment required. Must have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.3+ years of work-related experience in data engineering, analysis and business intelligence.Preferred Qualification:Experience with gamingExperience handling gaming dataExperience working with Azure data & ETL products
